Las relaciones bilaterales entre España y Emiratos Árabes Unidos

Abstract

En este trabajo busco analizar las relaciones bilaterales entre España y Emiratos Árabes, y estudiar los acuerdos firmados hasta el momento. Partiendo de un análisis histórico de la relación entre ambos países para ver la evolución de la relación política, comercial, cultural y de seguridad. Analizar el desarrollo de esta relación bilateral desde que comenzó hace décadas nos permitirá entender la buena relación que mantienen hoy en día e inferir en posibles vías de colaboración entre ambos, aunque sean dos países totalmente diferentes.

Las últimas visitas oficiales, tanto en España como en los países de Oriente Medio, nos invitan a analizar en que momento se encuentra cada país y que necesitan para seguir creciendo en un futuro. La celebración de la última exposición universal en Dubái ha sido un gran éxito para Emiratos Árabes y una oportunidad para España en la que ha podido darse a conocer y reunirse con altos cargos emiratíes. El trabajo en sus conclusiones recoge el buen estado de las relaciones que hay entre ambos países, así como las oportunidades que habrá en un futuro.

In this paper I seek to analyze the bilateral relations between Spain and the United Arab Emirates, and to study the agreements signed so far. Starting from a historical analysis of the relationship between the two countries to see the evolution of the political, commercial, cultural and security relationship. Analyzing the development of this bilateral relationship since it began decades ago will allow us to understand the good relationship they have today and to infer possible ways of collaboration between them, although they are two totally different countries.

The latest official visits, both in Spain and in the Middle East countries, invite us to analyze the current situation of each country and what they need to continue growing in the future. The celebration of the last universal exhibition in Dubai has been a great success for the United Arab Emirates and an opportunity for Spain to make itself known and meet with high-ranking Emirati officials. The conclusions of the work show the good state of relations between the two countries, as well as the opportunities that will exist in the future.
