La implementación del Blockchain y las criptodivisas en el sistema financiero y las Fintech

Abstract

El vertiginoso crecimiento de la tecnología Blockchain y el cada vez más habitual uso de las Criptodivisas como elemento de transacción en las operaciones del mercado y como método de inversión, hace necesario el análisis y estudio de como esta tecnología se está abriendo paso y adquiriendo un muy relevante papel dentro del sistema financiero “tradicional” y en el ámbito de las Fintech. De esta forma, el objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el funcionamiento de la tecnología Blockchain, la aplicación que esta puede tener en los sistemas financiero y el funcionamiento de los mercados, así como el estudio del concepto de la criptodivisa, los diferentes y más relevantes tipos de criptodivisas existentes junto a una evaluación de los diferentes proyectos tras estas criptodivisas y el papel que estas tienen y pueden llegar a tener en los sistemas financieros.

The dizzying growth of Blockchain technology and the increasingly common use of cryptocurrencies as a transaction element in market operations and as an investment method, makes it necessary to analyze and study how this technology is making its way and acquiring a truly relevant role within the "traditional" financial system and in the field of Fintech. Thus, the objective of this work is to study the functioning of Blockchain technology, the application it can have in the financial systems and the functioning of the markets, as well as the study of the concept of cryptocurrency, the different and most relevant types of existing cryptocurrencies together with an evaluation of the different projects behind these cryptocurrencies and the role they have and can have in the financial systems.
