Sistema de gestión de donaciones de ONGs con la tecnología blockchain

Abstract

En este Proyecto de Fin de Grado se ha diseñado, desarrollado e implementado una aplicación web para la gestión y manejo de donaciones de las ONGs a través de la tecnología blockchain. Esta tecnología, al no necesitar de terceros para realizar las transacciones, tiene como resultado un incremento en el porcentaje de gastos dedicado a las misiones de estas organizaciones, y ofrece también una total fiabilidad, seguridad y transparencia en las donaciones. Para esto, se ha desarrollado una aplicación web que interactúa con los Smart Contracts que se han despliegado sobre una red blockchain de pruebas en Ethereum. Se ha desarrollado a su vez un backend que además de gestionar las peticiones del frontend, también gestiona la base de datos con la información de los proyectos de estas organizaciones, así como la comunicación entre los contratos desplegados y la interfaz gráfica.

In this Final Project, a web application has been designed, developed, and implemented for the management and handling of donations from NGOs through blockchain technology. This technology, by not needing third parties to perform transactions, results in an increase in the percentage of expenses dedicated to the missions of these organizations, and also offers total reliability, security, and transparency in donations. To achieve this, a web application has been developed that interacts with the Smart Contracts that have been deployed on a test blockchain network in Ethereum. In turn, a backend has been developed that, in addition to managing the frontend requests, also manages the database with the information of the projects of these organizations, as well as the communication between the deployed contracts and the graphical interface.
