Factores sociales implicados en el inicio y mantenimiento del consumo de sustancias. Diferencias de género.

Abstract

Este estudio se basa en la búsqueda bibliográfica sobre las posibles variables sociales que pueden estar afectando a la persona en sus diferentes momentos de consumo de sustancias. Se centra específicamente en el consumo de alcohol, un consumo que hoy en día está extendido por todo el mundo y se consume de forma habitual. Estudiará la forma en la que se comienza a consumir y las variables sociales que influyen en este proceso. También ha resultado interesante para este estudio considerar la importancia que tiene el consumo mantenido, cómo el consumo se puede convertir en problemático y observar el cambio de las variables sociales que están implicadas en este momento. Por último, en este estudio se ha buscado, también, investigar sobre las posibles diferencias de género que se pueden encontrar en las distintas etapas del consumo de alcohol.

This study is based on the literature search about the possible social variables that may be affecting the person in their different moments of substance consumption. It focuses specifically on the consumption of alcohol, a consumption that today is widespread troughout the world and is consume don a regular basis. It will study the way in which consumption begins and the social variables that influence this process. It has also been interesting for this study to consider the importance of sustained consumption, how consumption can become problematic and to observe the change in the social variables that are involved at this time. Finally, this study has also sought to investigate the possible gender differences that can be found in the different stages of alcohol consumption.
