Modelo de distribución de alimentos para el Banco de Alimentos de Madrid

Abstract

Tras la recesión ocasionada por la COVID-19 y la actual inflación de precios debido en parte a la dependencia energética mundial, es de vital importancia prestar especial atención a los colectivos que tienen necesidades económicas más urgentes y vulnerables. En un entorno humano y socialmente responsable, se deben centrar los esfuerzos a dar apoyo a este colectivo. Por ello, en este proyecto, se ha analizado la situación actual de las personas en estado de pobreza tanto a nivel nacional como en la Comunidad de Madrid, verificando los factores más determinantes que se encuentran en este grupo, a fin de comprender si el hecho de ser de un determinado país, de un sexo concreto o estar en un rango de edad entre otras consideraciones, condicionan tu situación de vulnerabilidad. Además, se analiza en qué medida asociaciones como el BAM están llegando a cubrir esa demanda, junto con posibles propuestas a desarrollar.

In the wake of the recession caused by COVID-19 and the current price inflation due in part to global energy dependence, it is vitally important to pay special attention to those groups with the most urgent and vulnerable economic needs. In a humane and socially responsible environment, efforts should be focused on supporting this group. For this reason, this project has analysed the current situation of people living in poverty both nationally and in the Community of Madrid, verifying the most determining factors found in this group, in order to understand whether the fact of being from a certain country, of a specific sex or being in a certain age range, among other considerations, condition their situation of vulnerability. It also analyses the extent to which associations such as BAM are meeting this demand, together with possible proposals to be developed.
