Conviviendo con la esquizofrenia : Proyecto educativo para familiares de personas con esquizofrenia

Abstract

Conviviendo con la esquizofrenia, es el nombre que recibe este proyecto educativo para familiares de personas con dicha enfermedad mental. En un principio se hará un repaso a las teorías de la etiología de la esquizofrenia, así como a los distintos tipos de psicoterapias. Se hace un abordaje de la relación familiar con este tipo de enfermos en cuanto a la convivencia. El proyecto tiene como finalidad intentar educar a la familia para que comprendan mejor la enfermedad y para que sepan actuar de manera correcta en situaciones cotidianas. Se realizarán una serie de sesiones impartidas por enfermeros especializados en salud mental.

Living with schizophrenia, is the name given to this educational project for families of people with this mental illness. At first we will review the theories of the etiology of schizophrenia, as well as different types of psychotherapies. It is an approach to the family connection such patients about coexistence. The project aims to educate the family trying to better understand the disease and so they know the right way to act in everyday situations. There will be a series of sessions taught by specialist mental health nurses.
