Mujer musulmana migrante y de origen migrante en España : de la discriminación al empoderamiento. Interseccionalidad e integración

Abstract

La realidad de discriminación que sufre la mujer musulmana migrante y de origen migrante es flagrante, y más en el contexto español. Desde una perspectiva de la interseccionalidad, estas mujeres sufren duramente múltiples discriminaciones según los contextos donde se encuentren y según su propia identidad. Las múltiples discriminaciones sufridas van desde el ámbito privado (su propio hogar o mezquita) hasta el ámbito público (el puesto de trabajo o estudios), siendo el velo o el propio nombre focos de atención y odio. Mujeres que sufren duramente las consecuencias de ser mujer y musulmana, mujer y migrante, mujer y de origen migrante… Sufren y son discriminadas desde distintos frentes, sin poder encontrar una voz aliada. Ante esta dura realidad de discriminación encontramos testimonios de indiferencia, sumisión y también de empoderamiento. Mujeres que encuentran herramientas y espacios desde los que poder sanar sus heridas, y optar por vivir empoderadas. Un empoderamiento que les mueve a una lucha pacífica e integradora.

The reality of discrimination that suffer muslim migrant woman and those of migrant origin is flagrant, and more so in the spanish context. From an intersectionality perspective these women severly suffer multiple discriminations according to the contexts where they are and according her own identity. The multiple discriminations that they suffer comes from the private sphere (their own home or mosque) to the public sphere (the job or studies), with the veil or the name itself being the focal points of attention and hatred. Women who suffer harshly the consequence of being woman and muslim, woman and migrant, woman and of migrant origin… They suffer and they are discriminate from different points, without being able to find an allied voice. In front of this hard discrimination reality, we find testimonies of indifference, submission and also of empowerment. Women who find tools and spaces from which to heal their wounds, and choose to live empowered. An empowerment that moves them to a peaceful and integrated fight.
