El síndrome de Burnout y principales problemas psicológicos en personal sanitario en la pandemia COVID-19

Abstract

El objetivo principal es realizar una revisión sistemática explicando las diferentes teorías y controversias del síndrome del burnout, y los problemas más comunes que presenta el personal de enfermería y de los efectos que produce en sus trabajadores, se analizará una revisión entre las bases de datos más importantes, y se tendrán en cuenta situaciones como la explotación derivada del estrés así como otros factores que derivan de ello y posibles medidas a tener en cuenta, como se está viendo este año con motivo de la COVID-19. Se cogerán artículos que demuestren que ha habido algún problema ligado al estrés en el personal sanitario, concretamente de enfermería, y se analizarán terapias, encuestas o procedimientos para investigar el problema entre grupos expuestos y no expuestos, trabajadores de primera línea y de segunda línea, aquellos que han lidiado con la enfermedad con los que no. La finalidad del estudio consistirá en saber qué lugares de una institución sanitaria son más vulnerables a encontrarse en situaciones de estrés, qué grado de estrés han tenido y tiene el personal de enfermería en relación a la pandemia, a quién afecta más, en qué turno suelen darse más esas situaciones estresantes para el personal sanitario, y también si influye la experiencia (años) a la hora de paliar o mitigar la gravedad derivada del estrés, así como el sexo, si se da más en hombres o en mujeres. Por lo que incluiremos diferentes variables.

The main objective is to carry out a systematic review explaining the different theories and controversies of burnout syndrome, and the most common problems presented by nursing staff and the effects it produces in their workers, a review of the most important databases will be analyzed, and situations such as exploitation derived from stress will be taken into account as well as other factors that derive from it and possible measures to be taken into account, as is being seen this year on the occasion of COVID-19. Articles will be taken that show that there has been some problem linked to stress in health personnel, specifically nursing personnel, and therapies, surveys or procedures will be analyzed to investigate the problem between exposed and non-exposed groups, front-line and second-line workers, those who have dealt with the disease and those who have not. The aim of the study will be to find out which parts of a health institution are most vulnerable to stressful situations, what degree of stress nursing staff have had and have had in relation to the pandemic, who is most affected, in which shift these stressful situations tend to occur most for health staff, and also whether experience (years) has an influence when it comes to alleviating or mitigating the severity derived from stress, as well as gender, whether it occurs more in men or in women. We will therefore include different variables.
