Proyecto de catalogación de coche clásico como vehículo histórico

Abstract

El tema principal de este trabajo es la catalogación de vehículos clásicos como vehículos históricos. La catalogación como histórico añade al vehículo al que se le concede un gran valor simbólico, pues se certifica oficialmente que dicho vehículo cumple con una serie de requisitos estrictos que certifican la originalidad e importancia de dicho vehículo para que sea conservado. Debido a su complejidad, el proceso de catalogación requiere de un conocimiento profundo de la materia y, a día de hoy, no existen guías ni documentos accesibles que se puedan consultar. En este trabajo, se elabora una guía de fácil seguimiento, con información muy detallada y práctica, que podrá ser utilizada tanto por técnicos o profesionales del sector como por interesados en el proceso que conlleva la catalogación. En el trabajo, se describe detalladamente cada paso, centrándose en los documentos técnicos (ficha de características reducida e informe de catalogación como histórico) que deberán ser cumplimentados por ingenieros. De estos documentos se describe toda la información que deberán contener, donde obtenerla y la importancia que tiene su correcta elaboración. Además, se llegan a conclusiones acerca de las ventajas e inconvenientes que conlleva la catalogación como histórico, como las exenciones y limitaciones que pueden ser impuestas. Con toda la información, se realiza un caso práctico de importación, homologación, catalogación y matriculación de un coche real: un Chevrolet Corvette C1 de 1960 proveniente de Estados Unidos. Así, se ejemplifica todo el procedimiento y se demuestra la utilidad de la guía.

The main theme of this work is the cataloging of classic vehicles as historical vehicles. Cataloging as historic adds a great symbolic value to the vehicle, since it is officially certified that said vehicle meets a series of strict requirements that certify the originality and importance of said vehicle so that it is preserved. Due to its complexity, the cataloging process requires in-depth knowledge of the subject and, to date, there are no accessible guides or documents that can be consulted. In this work, an easy-to-follow guide is prepared, with very detailed and practical information, which can be used by both technicians or professionals in the sector and by those interested in the process that cataloging entails. In the work, each step is described in detail, focusing on the technical documents (reduced characteristics sheet and cataloging report as historical) that must be completed by engineers. These documents describe all the information they must contain, where to obtain it and the importance of its correct preparation. In addition, conclusions are reached about the advantages and disadvantages of cataloging as historical, such as the exemptions and limitations that can be imposed. With all the information, a practical case of import, homologation, cataloging and registration of a real car is carried out: a 1960 Chevrolet Corvette C1 from the United States. Thus, the entire procedure is exemplified and the usefulness of the guide is demonstrated.
