Escapando de los peligros de Hogwarts

Abstract

Actualmente en los colegios podemos identificar dificultades académicas que afectan a todos los alumnos de un curso impidiendo su desarrollo de la forma habitual. Por consiguiente, esto les va a perjudicar durante toda su vida y lo van a arrastrar año atrás año. Son este tipo de situaciones las que todo el equipo directivo y el departamento de orientación deben conocer, para poder buscar estrategias y dinámicas para mejorarla.

Por todo ello, este trabajo fin de máster es un programa de actuación específico, orientado a la mejora del cálculo mental en los alumnos de la alta primaria de un colegio inventado a partir de uno real. La orientadora será la encargada de diseñar y organizar la intervención

Para realizar la intervención se ha creado un escape room ambientado en las películas de Harry Potter, para motivar a los alumnos y mejorar sus resultados académicos. Esta actividad se llevará a cabo específicamente en 4º de Primaria, en la hora de matemáticas y contará con la participación de todos los profesores específicos de esa asignatura.

El objetivo principal de este programa es reforzar los conocimientos de los alumnos con respecto al cálculo mental y motivarles mediante el uso de un escape room.

Currently in schools we can identify academic difficulties that affect all students in a course, preventing their development in the usual way. Consequently, this is going to harm them throughout their lives, and they are going to drag it down year after year. It is this type of situation that the entire management team and the guidance department must be aware of, in order to seek strategies and dynamics to improve it.

For all these reasons, this master's thesis is a specific action program, aimed at improving mental calculation in high school students of a school invented from a real one. The counselor will be in charge of designing and organizing the intervention

To carry out the intervention, an escape room set in the Harry Potter films has been created to motivate students and improve their academic results. This activity will be carried out specifically in the 4th year of Primary, at the time of mathematics and will have the participation of all the specific teachers of that subject.

The main objective of this program is to reinforce students' knowledge of mental math and motivate them through the use of an escape room.
