Unamuno y la crítica a la pedagogía.

Abstract

En este Trabajo de Final de Máster hemos escogido la modalidad de investigación para traer a la reflexión general del curso la figura de Unamuno. Este pensador nos ofrece un contrapunto crítico hacia el optimismo pedagógico cuando confía en exceso en conclusiones científicas para desarrollar sus propias metodologías. Pero también una crítica hacia ciertos valores tradicionales cuando no suponen un contenido vivencial para el alumno. Se expondrá el valor que Unamuno da a la metáfora, a la paradoja y al lenguaje mítico, y como desde cierto irracionalismo se apuesta por una confianza en la libertad del alumno por encima de cualquier axioma (sea tradicional o innovador). La propuesta unamuniana en educación asumirá el problema de la muerte y la respuesta del amor como capitales para una comprensión de la educación en la que se cruza lo educativo con lo salvífico.

In this Master’s Final Project we have chosen the research modality to bring the figure of Unamuno to the general reflection of the course. This thinker offers us a critical counterpoint to pedagogical optimism when he relies excessively on scientific conclusions to develop his own methodologies. But also, a criticism of certain traditional values when they do not imply an experiential content for the student. The value that Unamuno gives to the metaphor, the paradox and the mythical language will be exposed, and how from a certain irrationalism he bets on a confidence in the student's freedom above any axiom (whether traditional or innovative). The Unamuno proposal in education will assume the problem of death and the response of love as capitals for an understanding of education in which the educational intersects with the salvific.
