El hidrógeno verde como nuevo vector energético: un análisis de su función como energía almacenable y transportable.

Abstract

Mediante el presente proyecto se pretende analizar en profundidad la situación o estado actual de la industria del hidrógeno, estudiando los hitos regulatorios más importantes de los últimos años, las distintas etapas que conforman su cadena de valor y entrando en detalle en los distintos métodos de transporte y almacenamiento del hidrógeno que existen actualmente, así como aquellos que son más viables en el corto plazo. Adicionalmente, en el presente trabajo se analiza la oportunidad que supone este recurso natural para un país como España, y como a su vez, éste presenta una serie de características que le impulsan a convertirse en un referente del hidrógeno a nivel europeo. Sin embargo, también se hace referencia a los distintos retos que habrá que afrontar en los próximos años para conseguir llegar a desarrollar un auténtico mercado del hidrógeno verde y que este se convierta en una verdadera “commodity”.

The aim of this project is to analyze in depth the current situation or status of the hydrogen industry, studying the most important regulatory milestones of recent years, the different stages that make up its value chain and going into detail on the different methods of transport and storage of hydrogen that currently exist, as well as those that are more viable in the short term. In addition, this project analyzes the opportunity that this natural resource represents for a country like Spain, and how, in turn, it presents a series of characteristics that drive it to become a hydrogen reference at European level. However, reference is also made to the different challenges that will have to be faced in the coming years in order to develop an authentic green hydrogen market and for it to become a true "commodity".
