La situación actual y el futuro de MERCOSUR

Abstract

El trabajo consiste en analizar la situación actual y el futuro de esta organización internacional MERCOSUR, como instrumento para alcanzar cohesión y cooperación entre los países miembros del bloque, teniendo en cuenta la coyuntura internacional actual, los cambios en los ejes estratégicos de la región, consecuencia de las nuevas relaciones económicas con China y Europa. Partiremos de un análisis previo de la historia y evolución de esta organización, incidiendo en la situación actual, para tratar de entender, y si es posible, predecir los próximos pasos a tomar por parte de los estados miembros del MERCOSUR, y hacer frente así, a los conflictos más preocupantes que acechan al grupo.

The work involves analyzing the current and future situation of the MERCOSUR, an international organization, as a means to achieve cohesion and cooperation among the member countries of the bloc, taking into account the current international context and the changes in the strategic axes of the region resulting from the new economic relationships with China and Europe. We will start with a preliminary analysis of the history and evolution of this organization, focusing on the current situation, in order to try to understand, and if possible, predict the next steps to be taken by the MERCOSUR member states, and thus address the most concerning conflicts that threaten the group.
