La evolución del rol de las Alianzas Público-Privadas (APP) en el sector sanitario antes y después de la pandemia : estudio comparativo entre su aplicación en Latinoamérica y España

Abstract

Este documento tiene como objetivo desarrollar un estudio comparativo que permita examinar el rol y la evolución de las Alianzas Público-Privadas (APP) en el sector de la sanidad antes y después de la pandemia. Para ello se han elegido dos zonas geográficas, España y Latinoamérica, que mantienen una relación muy cercana debido a las culturas similares y a los importantes vínculos económicos, siendo comparables entre sí. Es un trabajo de investigación que analizará de manera cualitativa y crítica el papel que estas asociaciones tienen en cada una de las áreas geográficas. Por lo tanto, se estudiará si su importancia ha crecido o disminuido en el tiempo, qué retos tienen que enfrentar y cuáles son las potenciales soluciones, qué perspectivas tienen los grupos de interés afectados por estas asociaciones, y, si realmente suponen un impulso para el desarrollo de cada uno de los países.

This paper aims to develop a comparative study to examine the role and evolution of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in the healthcare sector before and after the pandemic. For this purpose, two geographical areas have been chosen, Spain and Latin America, which maintain a very close relationship due to similar cultures and important economic links, being comparable to each other. It is a research work that will analyze in a qualitative and critical way the role that these associations have in each of the geographical areas. Therefore, it will study whether their importance has grown or diminished over time, what challenges they must face and what are the potential solutions, what are the perspectives of the stakeholders affected by these associations, and whether they really represent a boost for the development of each of the countries.
