Las mil caras de la guerra comercial entre EEUU y China

Abstract

Resumen Estados Unidos y China han estado sumidos en una disputa estratégica por ser el hegemón económico del mundo, levantando aranceles y restricciones que han constituido uno de los frentes abiertos entre ambas potencias, la guerra comercial. Este trabajo de fin de grado versará sobre la guerra comercial y sus implicaciones, sin embargo, entendiendo la misma como una de las disputas en curso y no como la única, como en ocasiones es tomada. Se llevará a cabo un análisis de la actualidad de los países y las futuribles situaciones en las que se encontrarán, así como los programas proteccionistas, déficit en la balanza comercial por parte de Estados Unidos y estudio de las políticas en los ámbitos militar, económico, geoestratégico y geoconómico desde la teoría de relaciones internacionales realista.

Abstract The United States and China have been involved in a strategic dispute over who will be the economic hegemon of the world, imposing tariffs and restrictions that have been one of the open fronts between the two powers, the trade war. This undergraduate thesis will focus on the trade war and its implications, however, understanding it as one of the ongoing disputes and not as the only one, as it is sometimes perceived. An analysis will be carried out of the current situation of both countries and the possible future situations in which they will find themselves, as well as protectionist programs, the trade deficit by the United States and a study of policies in the military, economic, geostrategic and geoeconomic fields from the perspective of realist international relations theory.
