Las bandas callejeras: perfiles y características, estructura y funcionamiento interno, afiliación a las bandas, formación y desarrollo, abordaje

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado muestra un análisis detallado del fenómeno de las bandas callejeras, específicamente de las bandas latinas en España. Para ello, se han consultado investigaciones y trabajos científicos. Estos estudios desmienten la narrativa que generan los medios de comunicación acerca de estos grupos y la percepción que tiene la sociedad en consecuencia. Los medios de comunicación generan y divulgan una imagen negativa de los miembros de las bandas callejeras, mostrándolos como personas peligrosas. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar una aproximación acerca de la realidad de las bandas buscando entender mejor su naturaleza. Se ha indagado acerca de su relación con la delincuencia, descrito los perfiles psicosociales de sus integrantes, explicado la estructura y el funcionamiento interno, el proceso de afiliación, así como su formación y desarrollo. Además, para contrastar esta información se han analizado las principales bandas latinas en España. Por último, se ha revisado las formas de tratamiento que se han llevado a cabo en España y se discute sobre su posible eficacia.

This Thesis Project presents a detailed analysis of the phenomenon of street gangs, specifically Latin gangs in Spain. To do so, research and scientific studies have been consulted. These studies refute the narrative generated by the media about these gangs and the perception that society has as a result. The media generates and disseminates a negative image of street gang members, portraying them as dangerous individuals. The aim of this work is to approach the reality of street gangs, seeking to have a better understanding of their nature. It describes their relationship with crime, the psychosocial profiles of their members, their internal structure and functioning, the process of affiliation, as well as their formation and development. In addition, to contrast this information, the main Latin gangs in Spain have been analyzed. Finally, the treatment methods that have been implemented in Spain will be reviewed as well as their possible effectiveness.
