Un breve recorrido por las extensas fronteras de la Psicología

Abstract

Lo simple no existe, existe lo simplificado, tomo estas palabras de Gastón Bachelard y las tomo con disgusto, porque a mí, como imagino que, a muchos de ustedes, me encanta lo simple, pero debo resignarme y admitir que lo que me encanta es la confortable presencia del espejismo de lo simplificado. La realidad es compleja. El ser humano es todavía más complejo ya que la realidad de la que nos ocupamos es sujeto y objeto a la vez (nuestro conocimiento es experto (cuando llegamos) y experimentado (siempre). Hemos ido creando disciplinas y formas de saber, comprender e intervenir. Esas disciplinas desde sus respectivas tradiciones de análisis científico dan cuenta de alguna de las posibles “simplificaciones” de esa complejidad.

The simple does not exist, the simplified exists, I take these words of Gaston Bachelard and I take them with disgust, because I, as I imagine many of you, love the simple, but I must resign myself and admit that what I love is the comfortable presence of the mirage of the simplified. Reality is complex. The human being is even more complex since the reality we deal with is both subject and object at the same time (our knowledge is expert (when we arrive) and experienced (always). We have been creating disciplines and ways of knowing, understanding and intervening. These disciplines, from their respective traditions of scientific analysis, account for some of the possible "simplifications" of this complexity.
