Sostenibilidad financiera del Sistema de pensiones en España

Abstract

En el presente trabajo de investigación se analiza la sostenibilidad y viabilidad financiera del sistema público de pensiones español. Para realizar este análisis hemos identificado las principales variables que contribuyen a la inviabilidad del sistema y proyectando dichas variables a futuro para intentar comprender el impacto que tendrán en las pensiones futuras. A su vez, hemos investigado sobre otros sistemas de pensiones existentes en otros países del mundo con el fin de encontrar alternativas al que tenemos actualmente en España. Después de haber identificado y analizado los principales problemas, hemos propuesto posibles soluciones que podrían contribuir a la viabilidad del sistema. Y finalmente, el trabajo llega a la conclusión de que nuestro sistema actual se encuentra obsoleto y necesita de una reforma estructural urgente que garantice el futuro de las pensiones de los españoles.

This research paper analyzes the sustainability and financial viability of the Spanish public pension system. To carry out this analysis we have identified the main variables that contribute to the non-viability of the system and we have projected these variables into the future in order to try to understand the impact they will have on future pensions. At the same time, we have researched other pension systems existing in other countries in the world in order to find alternatives to the one we currently have in Spain. After having identified and analyzed the main problems, we have proposed possible solutions that could contribute to the viability of the system. And finally, the work concludes that our current system is obsolete and needs urgent structural reform to guarantee the future of Spanish pensions.
