Ordenanzas municipales S.XVIII : Archivo Casa-Palacio Marqués de Cerverales

Abstract

Para un sector de la sociedad en constante evolución y cambio, que busca el bienestar de sus miembros, siempre va a ser prioritario aspirar a una mejora de su condición, en lo que se refiere a un mejor ejercicio de sus derechos y una mayor protección de los bienes jurídicos que se pretenden salvaguardar. A finales de la Edad Moderna, y más concretamente en la Comarca de Estepa, los agricultores veían peligrar de forma cotidiana su medio de subsistencia, el cultivo de olivo. Es en el Antiguo Régimen cuando la economía se fundamenta específicamente sobre la agricultura donde predominaba la gran propiedad noble, eclesiástica y burguesa. Nos encontramos en un contexto histórico en el que se ve reflejada la preponderancia social de este grupo al que interesa la elaboración de unas nuevas normas de convivencia. Las Ordenanzas de la Villa de Estepa del S.XVIII son fruto de la preocupación de este sector tan influyente y reflejo de los usos y costumbres de un determinado territorio en un momento de la Historia.

For a sector of society in constant evolution and change, which seeks the welfare of its members, it will always be a priority to aspire to an improvement in their condition, in terms of a better exercise of their rights and greater protection of the legal assets that are intended to safeguard. At the end of the Modern Age, and more concretely in the region of Estepa, the farmers saw their means of subsistence, the cultivation of olive trees, endangered on a daily basis. It is in the Ancient Regime when the economy is based specifically on agriculture where the great noble, ecclesiastical and bourgeois property predominated. We are in a historical context in which the social preponderance of this group is reflected in the elaboration of new rules of coexistence. The Ordinances of the Villa de Estepa of the 18th century are the result of the concern of this influential sector and a reflection of the uses and customs of a certain territory at a certain moment in history.
