INFLUENCIA DEL APEGO Y LA DIFERENCIACIÓN DEL SELF EN LA SEXUALIDAD

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación es estudiar las relaciones entre las dimensiones del apego adulto, ansiedad y evitación, la diferenciación del self, y sus dimensiones, así como la comunicación diádica sexual y la satisfacción sexual en una muestra de 140 sujetos. Las hipótesis están dirigidas a comprobar la existencia de correlaciones entre dichas variables y si ansiedad, evitación y las cinco subescalas de la diferenciación del self actúan como variables predictoras de la comunicación diádica sexual y la satisfacción sexual. Para someter estas hipótesis a prueba se procedió a realizar correlaciones de Pearson y regresiones lineales múltiples. Una vez realizadas estas pruebas estadísticas se concluye que ansiedad y evitación, no solo están relacionadas con las dos variables de sexualidad, sino que además son predictoras de estas. Por su parte, la diferenciación del self también presenta relaciones con las variables restantes, sin embargo no actúa como variable predictora de la comunicación diádica sexual y la satisfacción sexual.

The aim of this research is to study the relationships between the dimensions of adult attachment, anxiety and avoidance, self differentiation, and its dimensions, as well as dyadic sexual communication and sexual satisfaction in a sample of 140 subjects. The hypotheses are aimed at verifying the existence of correlations between these variables and whether anxiety, avoidance and the five subscales of self differentiation act as predictor variables of dyadic sexual communication and sexual satisfaction. To test these hypotheses, Pearson correlations and multiple linear regressions were performed. Once these statistical test have been carried out, it is concluded that anxiety and avoidance are not only related to the two sexuality variables, they are also predictors of them. For its part, self differentiation also presents correlations with the rest of the variables, but it does not work as a predictor variable of dyadic sexual communication and sexual satisfaction.
