Parametrización y análisis de un modelo simplificado de fractura de tibia mediante tornillos Poller

Abstract

Este proyecto analiza la técnica quirúrgica de operación de fracturas diagonales de la diáfisis tibial mediante la inserción de un clavo intramedular fijado mediante tornillos Poller o también llamados tornillos de bloqueo. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar el efecto que tienen los tornillos Poller teniendo como meta la minimización del desplazamiento del hueso en la fractura. Se llevará a cabo una simulación de un modelo simplificado de la zona media de una tibia y se llevará a cabo una parametrización de este mediante el método de elementos finitos. Posteriormente se analizará cualitativamente el impacto de los parámetros de este modelo viendo cuáles de estos influyen en mayor o en menor medida al objetivo de consolidar la fractura para una pronta recuperación del paciente.
