Palabra y Cuerpo: La recepción de la verdad en Levinas y Kierkegaard

Abstract

El presente trabajo gira en torno a la pregunta sobre cómo el hombre puede acceder a la verdad; en concreto, a la verdad que la filosofía busca, que es aquella que tiene que ver con la propia existencia. Se parte del problema de la relación entre lo interno —la condición propia del hombre en su lucha por salir de su encadenamiento irremisible a sí— y lo externo —la alteridad, lo que queda más allá de uno y, no obstante, le insta a dar una respuesta—. A pesar de que existe un fondo de similitud en el modo en que plantean su acercamiento al problema los dos autores que son objeto de estudio (Levinas y Kierkegaard), la investigación parte de la corriente fenomenológica para, desde ahí, sugerir un modo más certero de abordar la cuestión: en efecto, en Kierkegaard se ha encontrado una alternativa distinta al problema expuesto por medio de la llamada «comunicación indirecta», reflejada en el estadio religioso de la existencia (en concreto, en el paradójico-cristiano, que se expresa de un modo eminente en la vivencia del amor intersubjetivo).

This work aims to investigate the way in which the human being can access the truth; specifically, the truth that philosophy seeks, which involves one’s own existence. It starts from the problem of the relationship between the internal – human being’s own condition, which entails a struggle to escape from her irremissible enchainment to herself - and the external – that is, otherness, meaning that which lies beyond oneself and, nevertheless, urges her to give an answer. There is a resemblance in the way in which both Levinas and Kierkegaard approach the problem. However, this research starts from the phenomenological thought, and then, it suggests a more accurate way of approaching the question. In fact, in Kierkegaard’s thought a different perspective to the problem is suggested, by means of the so-called "indirect communication", reflected in the religious stage of existence (specifically, in the paradoxical-Christian one, expressed in an eminent way in intersubjective love).
