dc.description.abstract | 'Nadie Debería Morir Solo' offers a detailed and thoughtful analysis of human perception of one's own and others' death, and how this perception may have changed during the toughest months of the COVID-19 pandemic. The book combines theoretical reflections with personal testimonies and presents the results of research carried out between 2020 and 2021, including findings previously published in academic articles. With a bioethical and informative approach, this book seeks to provoke reflection, provide knowledge, and suggest prevention actions to improve the ethics of care, human well-being, and mental health in aspects related to death and dying, and human dignity. By addressing the ethical dimension of dying, the content and approach of the book are also closely related to the way of living and align with the third Sustainable Development Goal and the 2030 Agenda, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. | en-GB |
