Desarrollo humano integral y Agenda 2030 : aportaciones del pensamiento social cristiano a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible

Abstract

Este libro pretende poner en diálogo el contenido de la Agenda 2030 con el pensamiento social cristiano. Orgánicamente, está concebido como un «manual» para facilitar la comprensión de los principios doctrinales que aporta el cristianismo a los acuerdos internacionales más importantes de nuestros días. ¿Qué ética necesitan las relaciones humanas para convivir en un planeta finito y garantizar que todos los seres humanos, iguales en dignidad, tengan acceso a los bienes y servicios, a las oportunidades y a los resultados de sus actividades para que puedan llevar a cabo una vida libre y razonadamente considerada como valiosa? La respuesta de la DSI, desde el humanismo teocéntrico, es el «desarrollo humano integral » que, teniendo como horizonte el Reino de Dios, invita a la conversión, al compromiso y a la acción concreta, a la luz del mensaje que Jesucristo reveló de un Dios que es Amor y otorga una Paz que el mundo no puede dar ni lograr de espaldas a Él.

This book aims to put the content of the 2030 Agenda in dialogue with Christian social thought. Organically, it is conceived as a "manual" to facilitate the understanding of the doctrinal principles that Christianity brings to the most important international agreements of our days. What ethics do human relations need to live together on a finite planet and guarantee that all human beings, equal in dignity, have access to goods and services, to opportunities and to the results of their activities so that they can lead a life freely and reasonably considered valuable? The response of the DSI, from theocentric humanism, is "integral human development" which, having the Kingdom of God as its horizon, invites conversion, commitment and concrete action, in light of the message that Jesus Christ revealed in a God who is Love and grants a Peace that the world cannot give or achieve with its back to Him.
