Aprendizaje basado en Problemas: Cuadernos de Pedagogía Ignaciana

Abstract

El artículo presenta el aprendizaje basado en problemas (ABP) como una metodología que fomenta el desarrollo integral del estudiante y su capacidad para resolver problemas complejos en entornos caracterizados por la volatilidad, la incertidumbre, la complejidad y la ambigüedad. Además, el ABP permite adquirir y desarrollar competencias transversales de diferentes asignaturas (soft skills) y habilidades para trabajar en equipos multidisciplinares, empatizar, respetar y comprender otros puntos de vista. El artículo señala que el ABP se enraíza con la tradición pedagógica ignaciana y con las dimensiones de fides, iustitia, humanitas y utilitas del paradigma universitario Ledesma-Kolvenbach.

The article presents problem-based learning (PBL) as a methodology that promotes the integral development of the student and his ability to solve complex problems in environments characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. In addition, the PBL allows the acquisition and development of transversal competences of different subjects (soft skills) and abilities to work in multidisciplinary teams, empathize, respect and understand other points of view. The article points out that the PBL is rooted in the Ignatian pedagogical tradition and with the dimensions of fides, iustitia, humanitas and utilitas of the Ledesma-Kolvenbach university paradigm.
