Unión con Cristo y afectividad en San Ignacio de Loyola

Abstract

La tesis se pregunta acerca del papel que otorga San Ignacio a la afectividad del ser humano en la unión con Dios y en el itinerario de conformación con Cristo que a ella conduce. Comienza con un estudio histórico, comparando las diferentes visiones antropológicas y cristológicas y sus consecuencias a la hora de explicar la unión con Dios en algunos de los principales autores espirituales anteriores a San Ignacio. Identificando influencias y diferencias con los diversos autores, la tesis trata de explicar el modelo antropológico y cristológico propio de San Ignacio. Desde este modelo se explica el itinerario espiritual de los Ejercicios Espirituales como itinerario de transformación afectiva hacia la unión con Dios. Finalmente, papel de la afectividad según el particular concepto de unión con Dios que subyace en los escritos ignacianos, se expone de manera sistemática e interdisciplinar, conjugando las aportaciones de la antropología filosófica, la psicología actual y la antropología teológica.

The thesis wonders about the role that Saint Ignatius grants to the affectivity of the human being in the union with God and in the itinerary of conformation with Christ that leads to it. It begins with a historical study, comparing the different Anthropological and Christological visions and their consequences when it comes to explaining the union with God in some of the main spiritual authors prior to Saint Ignatius. Identifying influences and differences with the various authors, the thesis tries to explain the Anthropological and Christological model of Saint Ignatius. From this model, the spiritual itinerary of the Spiritual Exercises is explained as an itinerary of affective transformation towards union with God. Finally, the role of affectivity according to the particular concept of union with God that underlies Ignatian writings, is exposed in a systematic and interdisciplinary way, combining the contributions of Philosophical Anthropology, current Psychology, and Theological Anthropology.
