Plan de negocio Centro Ecuestre y de Terapias Asistidas con Caballos.

Abstract

El trabajo consistirá en analizar y estudiar la viabilidad de la creación de un centro o finca de retiro para caballos, donde existan prados de jubilación y donde los caballos puedan entrenarse para ser usados en iniciativas de equino-terapia. Dado el alto número de caballos de competición o caballos lesionados, que quedan descuidados o abandonados porque se considera que ya no sirven para el trabajo, el centro de acogida se centraría en la recogida de estos animales, para darles una segunda oportunidad. Para ello, es necesario hacer un estudio del sector. En primer lugar, analizar si existe alguna iniciativa similar es España y si es comparable a nuestra idea. En segundo lugar, estudiar informes de la federación hípica para aproximar la cantidad de caballos que sufren abandonos, y como acceder a ellos. Además, en la Federación podremos encontrar información para entender el nivel de demanda que tendrían nuestros servicios, entendiendo sobretodo la cantidad de gente que practica la hípica, y cuántos caballos se retiran en España al año, y a qué edad. Por último será necesario entender qué problemas pueden surgir con nuestra iniciativa, riesgos a los que nos enfrentamos y en última instancia si nuestro negocio será económicamente viable. En este sentido, también será interesante entender qué regulaciones existen en cada comunidad autónoma y si hay alguna comunidad donde el proyecto recibiría especiales subvenciones del gobierno.

The project will consist of analyzing and studying the feasibility of creating a retirement center or farm for horses, where there are retirement pastures and where horses can be trained for use in equine therapy initiatives. Given the high number of competition horses or injured horses that are neglected or abandoned because they are considered no longer useful for work, the shelter would focus on collecting these animals to give them a second chance.

To do this, a study of the sector is necessary. First, analyze if there is any similar initiative in Spain and if it is comparable to our idea. Second, study reports from the equestrian federation to approximate the number of horses that suffer abandonment and how to access them. In addition, in the Federation, we can find information to understand the level of demand that our services would have, especially understanding the number of people who practice equestrianism and how many horses retire in Spain each year and at what age.

Finally, it will be necessary to understand what problems may arise with our initiative, the risks we face, and ultimately whether our business will be economically viable. In this sense, it will also be interesting to understand what regulations exist in each autonomous community and if there is any community where the project would receive special government subsidies.
