Un análisis crítico de la solución de dos Estados en el conflicto palestino-israelí

Abstract

El conflicto entre Israel y Palestina, persistente por casi 76 años, ha generado una urgente necesidad de encontrar una solución duradera. A lo largo de este tiempo, se han propuesto diversas soluciones, desde un "Gran Israel" hasta una "Palestina Única", pero ninguna ha sido implementada. La propuesta principal ha sido la partición del territorio en dos Estados para dos naciones, respaldada por la ONU en la Resolución 181. Sin embargo, la viabilidad de esta solución ha sido cuestionada debido a cambios en la realidad política y social. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar en profundidad la propuesta de dos Estados como solución mayoritaria y examinar los obstáculos que han dificultado su implementación. Para ello, se realizará un estudio exhaustivo de la literatura del siglo XX y XXI, lo cual nos permitirá identificar y analizar problemas como el crecimiento de asentamientos, la radicalización política y los fallos en la configuración del sistema de dos Estados. Así, se procurará responder a la pregunta de investigación: Teniendo en cuenta que el paradigma de dos Estados es la solución oficial propuesta por las partes y la comunidad internacional, ¿por qué no se ha logrado implementar aún la solución de dos Estados y qué condiciones se requieren para su éxito futuro? El estudio incluirá un análisis histórico de la formación del paradigma de dos Estados, un marco conceptual teórico, un análisis crítico la solución, y una síntesis de propuestas constructivas para superar los obstáculos identificados. Se presentarán conclusiones y reflexiones sobre el futuro del conflicto entre Israel y Palestina, así como sugerencias para investigaciones futuras sobre la solución al conflicto.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine, persistent for almost 76 years, has generated an urgent need to find a lasting solution. Throughout this time, various solutions have been proposed, from a "Greater Israel" to a "Single Palestine," but none have been implemented. The main proposal has been the partition of the territory into two states for two nations, endorsed by the UN in Resolution 181. However, the viability of this solution has been questioned due to changes in the political and social reality. The aim of this work is to analyze in depth the proposal of two states as the majority solution and examine the obstacles that have hindered its implementation. To achieve this, a comprehensive study of 20th and 21st-century literature will be conducted, allowing us to identify and analyze problems such as settlement growth, political radicalization, and flaws in the configuration of the two-state system. Thus, an attempt will be made to answer the research question: Considering that the two-state paradigm is the official solution proposed by the parties and the international community, why has the two-state solution not yet been implemented and what conditions are required for its future success? The study will include a historical analysis of the formation of the two-state paradigm, a theoretical conceptual framework, a critical analysis of the solution, and a synthesis of constructive proposals to overcome the identified obstacles. Conclusions and reflections on the future of the conflict between Israel and Palestine will be presented, as well as suggestions for future research on the solution to the conflict.
