Embarazos no planificados vs. no deseados

Abstract

Este trabajo se focalizó en esclarecer el concepto y las características de los embarazos no planificados, principalmente en comparación con los embarazos no deseados, y en aportar información específicamente sobre los embarazos no planificados en una etapa de gran vulnerabilidad psicología, como es el periodo perinatal. Además, se proporcionaron diversos datos sobre cómo los embarazos no planificados pueden afectar negativamente a la madre en diferentes ámbitos y aspectos, como a nivel psicológico, económico/laboral y familiar, entre otros. De igual manera se planteó el impacto de este tipo de embarazos en el establecimiento de un vínculo materno-fetal, el cual se caracteriza por ser de baja calidad, así como la posibilidad de sufrir depresión y ansiedad perinatal, los factores de riesgo y las consecuencias que se pueden generar tanto en la madre como en el bebé, todo ello mediante una exhaustiva búsqueda bibliográfica. Mediante la recopilación de información se obtuvo una visión general sobre los desafíos que suponen los embarazos no planificados y la necesidad de establecer programas o medidas que permitan a la población tener un mayor conocimiento sobre los embarazos no planificados, al igual que sobre los factores de riesgos, consecuencias y métodos de prevención que permitan evitar este tipo de los embarazos.

This work focused on clarifying the concept and characteristics of unplanned pregnancies, mainly in comparison with unwanted pregnancies, and on providing information specifically on unplanned pregnancies in a stage of great psychological vulnerability, such as the perinatal period. In addition, various data were provided on how unplanned pregnancies can negatively affect the mother in different areas and aspects, such as psychological, economic/work and family levels, among others. Likewise, the impact of this type of pregnancies on the establishment of a maternal-fetal bond was raised, which is characterized by being of low quality, as well as the possibility of suffering perinatal depression and anxiety, the risk factors and the consequences. that can be generated in both the mother and the baby, all through an exhaustive literature search. Through the collection of information, an overview was obtained of the challenges posed by unplanned pregnancies and the need to establish programs or measures that allow the population to have greater knowledge about unplanned pregnancies, as well as the risk factors, consequences and prevention methods that allow this type of pregnancy to be avoided.
