A consulting project to Mercado Libre, a leading Latin American e-commerce company, to achieve zero emissions challengue by 2050 and reduce its carbon footprint through new technologies. The challenge is to devise a profitable and effective strategic plan for this goal. As a major online marketplace in multiple countries, Mercado Libre acknowledges its responsibility to lead in sustainable practices. The justification stems from environmental challenges faced by e-commerce, particularly the high carbon footprint of product delivery. The project aims to employ digital transformation to create a strategic plan, aligning with global goals such as affordable and clean energy, sustainable industrialization, responsible consumption, climate action, and terrestrial ecosystem protection. In summary, the project analyzes Mercado Libre's digital transformation strategy, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability and contribution to urgent global challenges.en-GB
