Don y tarea del ministerio ordenado. Su espiritualidad a la luz de los Ejercicios ignacianos

Abstract

Se han celebrado 500 años de la conversión de Ignacio de Loyola. Entre su casa-torre guipuzcoana y Manresa se produce un cambio de mirada en un hombre que tenía unos ideales y unos horizontes y que, sin embargo, bajo el auspicio del favor de Dios, se dejó afectar por Él. Este no es libro para jesuitas, sino para cualquier sacerdote que desee dejarse conducir por Cristo, dejando atrás «redes y cadenas» (Ej 142). ¿Cómo el proceder ignaciano podría ayudar a vivir la espiritualidad sacerdotal hoy? Los Ejercicios son escuela de oración y de discernimiento y, en este caso, se ofrecen para renovar la vocación del ministerio ordenado.

500 years have been celebrated since the conversion of Ignatius of Loyola. Between his Gipuzkoan tower house and Manresa there is a change of outlook in a man who had ideals and horizons and who, however, under the auspices of God's favor, allowed himself to be affected by Him. This is not a book for Jesuits, but for any priest who wishes to let himself be led by Christ, leaving behind "nets and chains" (Ex 142). How could the Ignatian procedure help to live priestly spirituality today? The Exercises are a school of prayer and discernment and, in this case, they are offered to renew the vocation of the ordained ministry
