POLÍTICA AGRARIA COMÚN E IMPACTO DE LAS PROTESTAS DE LOS AGRICULTORES EUROPEOS EN EL SIGLO XXI

Abstract

En este trabajo de investigación, se va a llevar a cabo un análisis de la evolución de la Política Agraria Común (PAC) y el impacto de las protestas del campo europeo a lo largo del siglo XXI. Para ello, se emplearán numerosos datos obtenidos de gráficas, noticias, artículos y organismos internacionales que nos van a permitir repasar de manera más amplia el tema a estudiar. La principal intención de dicho trabajo es estudiar y evaluar cómo las respuestas y reformas llevadas a cabo por la Unión Europea han afectado a los agricultores europeos, así como entender los motivos de las constantes protestas y movilizaciones durante este último siglo en Europa. Se analizarán variables como: la evolución del gasto de la PAC, el peso de la agricultura en el producto interior bruto (PIB) de los principales países de la Unión Europea, el número de empleados en la agricultura y la financiación del sector agrícola europeo. Para concluir, valoraremos el futuro de las movilizaciones agrarias en base a las nuevas medidas adoptadas desde Bruselas para intentar frenar el descontento generalizado del sector agrícola y estudiaremos los nuevos retos económicos, medioambientales y tecnológicos a los que se enfrenta la agricultura y ganadería de cara a 2030.

In this research work, an analysis of the evolution of the Common Agricultural Policy and the impact of the protests in the European countryside throughout the twenty-first century will be carried out. To do this, numerous data obtained from graphs, news, articles and international organizations will be used that will allow us to review the topic to be studied in a broader way. The main intention of this work is to study and evaluate how the responses and reforms carried out by the European Union have affected European farmers, as well as to understand the reasons for the constant protests and mobilizations during this last century in Europe. Variables such as: the evolution of expenditure under the Common Agricultural Policy, the percentage of agriculture in the GDP of the main countries of the European Union, the number of employees in agriculture and the financing of the European agricultural sector will be analyzed. To conclude this work, we will assess the future of agricultural mobilizations based on the new measures adopted from Brussels to try to curb the generalized discontent of the agricultural sector and we will study the new economic, environmental and technological challenges facing agriculture and livestock in the face of 2030.
