Resumen : The experiences of the 2000s second-generation Chinese in Spain are examined in this thesis, as they represent a group that manages the complexity of two different cultural identities in a unique way. By concentrating on a non-Anglophone European context, this study offers fresh perspectives on the processes of cultural integration and identity formation among these people. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study captures a comprehensive picture of this community's lived experiences by combining qualitative interviews with quantitative surveys. The results show that, despite obstacles like discrimination and identity confusion, these Chinese Spanish of second generation have a high level of cultural integration and acculturation. The study emphasizes how important parental guidance is for participants' cultural retention and their clever handling of their bicultural identities. It also discusses the aspirations and social structures that influence their assimilation into Spanish society.
