Incomprensión y destino: Un viaje al límite del entendimiento

Abstract

«Cuanto más crees comprender, menos comprendes». Así comienza esta reflexión sobre el alcance y los límites de lo que podemos entender y de lo que quizás siempre nos desborde. Los recursos de la poesía permiten al autor combinar la imagen y el concepto, la metáfora que refleja todo un mundo de sensibilidad unida a la elaboración filosófica que trata de acotarla, de subsumirla en un horizonte de comprensión, pese a enfrentarnos a lo inabarcable, al desafío más profundo, a una nada que amenaza con absorberlo todo.

"The more you think you understand, the less you understand." Thus begins this reflection on the scope and limits of what we can comprehend and what may always overwhelm us. The tools of poetry allow the author to combine image and concept, metaphor that reflects an entire world of sensitivity united with philosophical elaboration that attempts to contain it, to subsume it within a horizon of understanding, despite our confrontation with the ungraspable, the deepest challenge, a nothingness that threatens to absorb everything.
