Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se ha recurrido a la recopilación de discursos de diversos informantes clave, incluyendo tanto a personas migrantes que han pasado por dichos centros como a profesionales del ámbito migratorio. Con el fin de contextualizar la creación de estos centros, se ha abordado la situación migratoria actual en España y en la Unión Europea, así como las políticas de gestión migratoria utilizadas por ambas. Además de esto, se ha detallado la atención psicosocial brindada en los CETI y en los CIE y, finalmente, se ha examinado el significativo impacto que estos centros producen, tanto a nivel físico como psicológico a las personas que transitan por ellos.; This Final Degree Project consists of a comparison between the living conditions in two of the migration management instruments used in Spain: the Temporary Stay Centres for Immigrants (CETI) and the Detention Centres for Foreigners (CIE). In order to carry out this research, we have resorted to the collection of discourses from various key informants, including both migrants who have passed through these centres and professionals in the field of migration. In order to contextualise the creation of these centres, the current migration situation in Spain and the European Union was addressed, as well as the migration management policies used by both. In addition, the psychosocial care provided in CETI and CIE has been detailed and, finally, the significant impact that these centres produce, both physically and psychologically, on the people who pass through them has been examined. A través de una metodología cualitativa que combina entrevistas semiestructuradas y revisión documental, se analizan los factores que impulsan la migración, las condiciones del trayecto y la situación posterior de los menores en el país de destino. Los resultados dan cuenta de una cadena de vulnerabilidades que atraviesa a la infancia haitiana y se reproduce en todas las etapas de su proceso migratorio. Así, este estudio rechaza la mirada de la migración infantil haitiana como fenómeno colateral, proponiéndola como una problemática estructural que demanda atención urgente e invita al Trabajo Social a posicionarse críticamente y a repensar su intervención en contextos de exclusión sostenida.; This Bachelor’s Degree Final Project offers a critical perspective on the phenomenon of Haitian child migration to the Dominican Republic, considering the dimensions of origin, transit and destination. Through a qualitative methodology combining semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis, this study examines the driving factors behind migration, the conditions of the journey, and the post-migration situation of this minors in the host country. The findings reveal a chain of vulnerabilities that affect Haitian migrant children and persist throughout all stages of the migration process. This work challenges the notion of child migration as a secondary issue, framing it instead as a structural problem that demands urgent attention, and calls on Social Work to take a critical stance and rethink its approach in contexts of sustained exclusion.
