Prevalencia del maltrato infantil en personas que cometen delitos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se explorará como influye sufrir maltrato infantil en la infancia para posteriormente cometer algún delito, siendo el objetivo general y principal de la investigación explorar la relación entre la violencia sufrida en la infancia temprana y el desarrollo de conductas delictivas en la adolescencia y/o adultez. Pues, el entorno en el que crece un menor es la clave de su desarrollo integral. Para ello, se profundizará acerca del maltrato infantil, los tipos que existen, así como las posibles consecuencias negativas en el desarrollo de los niños que lo sufren. Siendo también importante conocer el concepto de apego y sus tipos. Todo ello como posibles factores que potencien la conducta delictiva. Se comprenderán también los tipos de delitos y las estadísticas oficiales asociadas a ellos. Contando como resultados con la percepción, experiencia y conocimientos de diversos profesionales que trabajan con personas que han cometido algún delito. La metodología utilizada para la obtención de resultados y comparación con datos oficiales y estudios realizados se tratará de una mixta que involucre un cuestionario a profesionales que hayan intervenido con el perfil delictivo con presencia de maltrato en la infancia, así como una entrevista personal con una experta que reflejará la realidad de los resultados.

This study will explore how experiencing child abuse during childhood influences the subsequent commission of crimes, with the general and primary objective of this research being to examine the relationship between violence experienced in early childhood and the development of criminal behavior in adolescence and/or adulthood. The environment in which a child grows up is key to their holistic development. To this end, the study will explore child abuse, the different types that exist, and the potential negative consequences in the development of children who experience it. It is also important to understand the concept of attachment and its types. All of which are potential factors that may contribute to criminal behavior. It will be also explored the types of crimes and the official statistics associated with them. The results will consist of the perceptions, experiences, and knowledge of various professionals who work with individuals who have committed crimes. The methodology used to obtain results and compare them with official data and existing studies will be a mixed-methods approach involving a questionnaire administered to professionals who have worked with offenders with a history of childhood abuse, as well as a personal interview with an expert who will provide insight into the reality of the findings.
