Abstract

El descubrimiento de los manuscritos del Mar Muerto en 1947 es considerado el acontecimiento arqueológico más importante del siglo XX. Los documentos contienen los textos más antiguos de la Biblia hebrea y una amplia colección de escritos que describen el contexto social, político y religioso que se vivía en Jerusalén durante los orígenes del cristianismo.Desde el día en el que unos jóvenes beduinos recuperaron una cabra que se había perdido en una cueva del desierto la leyenda ha acompañado la historia de este descubrimiento.
