Benito Menni: aportaciones a la salud mental

Abstract

Además de la aportación del P. Menni y de sus seguidores, se pretende reflejar su habilidad como gestor y persona, que supo leer los acontecimientos de su época con grandes dificultades en la tierra que vio nacer la Orden Hospitalaria. Se pretende también hacer un homenaje en este año de cierre del Centenario de su muerte para dejar constancia de su impronta en favor del enfermo mental que todavía sigue siendo el gran marginado de nuestra sociedad.

It is not only the influence of Menni and his collaborators but their ability as a manager and person who knew how to read between lines difficult events of his time on the land who saw the outcome of the Hospitaler Order. Throughout all these events we just try to pay homage along this closing year of his Death´s Centenary as a witness of his efforts in favour of the mental patient, in spite of still the marginalised in our society.
