El artículo presenta la nueva norma internacional ISO 24495-2:2025, que establece directrices para una comunicación jurídica clara. Esta norma busca que incluso los textos legales más complejos sean comprensibles, eficaces y precisos para distintos destinatarios, sin perder rigor jurídico. Se destacan los beneficios de este enfoque, como el ahorro de tiempo y costes, la mejora del acceso a la justicia y la adaptación a entornos tecnológicos. También se mencionan desafíos y la necesidad de adaptar la norma al contexto jurídico español.

The article introduces the international standard ISO 24495-2:2025, which promotes the use of clear and effective legal language. Its goal is to make legal texts understandable for citizens, professionals, and public administrations, without compromising legal precision. The article highlights the benefits of this approach—such as improved access to justice, cost and time savings, and better adaptation to digital environments—while also addressing the challenges of implementing the standard in the Spanish legal context.
