A partir del análisis del sistema de protección internacional y de las principales manifestaciones de malestar psicológico asociadas a las migración forzada –como el duelo migratorio, el estrés aculturativo o el trastorno de estrés postraumático–, se pone de relieve el impacto de la incertidumbre administrativa, la precariedad y la falta de apoyos. Asimismo, se examina el rol del trabajador/a social como figura clave en la intervención psicosocial, el acompañamiento emocional, la coordinación de recursos y la defensa de derechos, destacando la necesidad de enfoques integrales y culturalmente sensibles para favorecer el bienestar y la inclusión social de esta población. This Bachelor’s Degree Final Project analyses the mental health of asylum seekers and applicants for international protection in Spain, focusing on the social and structural factors that affect their emotional well-being throughout the migration and reception process. The study examines the international protection system and the main forms of psychological distress associated with forced migration, such as migratory grief, acculturative stress and post-traumatic stress disorder, highlighting the impact of administrative uncertainty, precarious living conditions and lack of support.
