Abstract

El objetivo principal de esta investigación es analizar cómo variables sociodemográficas como el género, la edad, la ideología política y la religiosidad influyen en temas relacionados con el amor y la relación de pareja como pueden ser el hecho de tener o no pareja, los tipos de uniones y el número de relaciones que han tenido las personas en la sociedad contemporánea. La metodología utilizada consiste en un estudio cuantitativo descriptivo y correlacional mediante una encuesta estructurada del CIS (Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas), publicada en 2025 y con una muestra de 3854 residentes en España. Los resultados nos revelan que variables como la edad o la religiosidad no tienen una influencia significativa en el hecho de tener o no pareja. Por otro lado, la variable género sí que tiene una influencia significativa en el número de relaciones que ha tenido una persona La ideología política y la religiosidad son variables que sí tienen una influencia significativa en la elección del tipo de unión.

The main objective of this research is to analyse how sociodemographic variables such as gender, age, political ideology, and religion influence issues related to love and romantic relationships, such as whether individuals have a partner or not, the types of unions they form, and the number of relationships people have had in contemporary society. The methodology used consists of a descriptive and correlational quantitative study based on a structured survey from the CIS (Centre for Sociological Research), published in 2025, with a sample of 3,854 residents in Spain. The results reveal that variables such as age and religion do not have a significant influence on whether a person has a partner or not. On the other hand, the gender variable does have a significant influence on the number of relationships a person has had. Political ideology and religiosity are variables that do have a significant influence on the choice of type of union.
