Diccionario del catequista

Abstract

Impulsado por la Asociación Española de Catequetas (AECA) en un ejercicio concreto de sinodalidad, este Diccionario del catequistaes el fruto maduro de la recepción del Concilio Vaticano II en el ámbito de la catequesis en España.

La novedad de su aportación radica en haber puesto en el centro de la acción catequética la persona del catequista, sin la cual no es posible la transmisión de la fe. No han faltado, ciertamente, cursos, planes y propuestas pedagógicas para cumplir lo que el Concilio había pedido sobre la formación de los catequistas. Esta obra, sin embargo, cubre una laguna que aún existía: disponer de un instrumento para la formación de catequistas que fuera a la vez exhaustivo, abierto, versátil y plural.

Driven by the Spanish Association of Catechists (AECA) in a concrete exercise of synodality, this Dictionary of the Catechist is the mature fruit of the reception of the Second Vatican Council in the field of catechesis in Spain. The novelty of its contribution lies in placing the catechist at the center of catechetical action, without whom the transmission of faith is not possible. Certainly, there have been courses, plans, and pedagogical proposals to fulfill what the Council requested regarding the formation of catechists. This work, however, fills a gap that still existed: providing a tool for the formation of catechists that is at once comprehensive, open, versatile, and plural.
