Abstract

El artículo Derrotar el dolor. La levedad del sueño posthumanista analiza el dolor como una realidad física, psíquica y social que no puede reducirse solo a un problema técnico o médico. Examina la propuesta transhumanista y posthumanista de eliminar o minimizar el dolor, pero concluye que ese ideal olvida su dimensión humana, moral y relacional. El texto sostiene que una vida sin dolor no equivaldría necesariamente a una vida más plena, porque el sufrimiento también está ligado a la compasión, la conciencia de los límites y la construcción de sentido.
