Desde una perspectiva institucional y jurídica, examina los conceptos fundamentales de responsabilidad social y gobernanza, así como el marco normativo aplicable, incluyendo la Ley de Transparencia y la Ley del Deporte. A partir de ello, traslada estos principios al caso de los clubes de fútbol, valorando el papel de las estructuras de gobierno, las presiones sociales y las expectativas de los grupos de interés en la adopción de prácticas responsables. El trabajo combina teoría y práctica para proponer medidas orientadas a una gestión más transparente, sostenible y alineada con los valores sociales que el deporte debe representar. This chapter analyzes the application of Corporate Social Responsibility and, more specifically, corporate governance in professional sport in Spain, with special attention to football. From an institutional and legal perspective, it examines the main concepts of CSR and good governance, as well as the regulatory framework provided by the Transparency Law and the Sports Law. It then applies these principles to Spanish football clubs, reflecting on the role of governance structures, social pressure, and stakeholder expectations in the adoption of responsible practices.
