La IA introduce ventajas operativas evidentes, pero también riesgos morales, como la dilución de responsabilidades y la distancia psicológica respecto a las consecuencias del uso de la fuerza. El texto subraya que los sistemas inteligentes no poseen valores éticos y que la autoridad moral del mando humano sigue siendo insustituible. En este contexto, el juicio humano, la prudencia y la responsabilidad ética se convierten en una ventaja estratégica asimétrica. The text examines the profound transformation of the Spanish Armed Forces driven by the integration of artificial intelligence, automation, and big data analytics. This technological shift goes beyond weapons systems and logistics, reshaping military leadership, decision-making processes, and command ethics. In an operational environment defined by speed and complexity, leadership is no longer about possessing more information but about managing uncertainty and assuming ultimate responsibility for decisions. While AI provides significant operational advantages, it also raises serious ethical challenges, including the fragmentation of responsibility and the psychological distancing from the consequences of force. The article emphasizes that intelligent systems lack moral agency, and therefore ethical judgement cannot be delegated to algorithms. Human authority, grounded in responsibility, prudence, and moral character, remains essential.
