Las consecuencias más comunes incluyen bajo peso al nacer, prematuridad, malformaciones y el síndrome de abstinencia neonatal. Además, afecta a su adaptación a la vida extrauterina y en su desarrollo. Es clave prevenir estos problemas informando a las madres y ofreciendo apoyo antes y después del parto. Objetivos: entender cómo afectan las sustancias toxicas al feto, identificar los factores que llevan a las madres a consumir durante el embarazo y proponer formas de prevenir, detectar y tratar estos casos. Metodología: Proyecto educativo para reducir el consumo de sustancias tóxicas durante el embarazo.
