<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="es-ES" mdschema="dc">El capítulo presenta un análisis de dos exposiciones conmemorativas dedicadas a Ramon Llull y Catalina Tomàs en Mallorca, abordando su papel en el imaginario colectivo y su valor educativo. Ambas figuras, más allá de su dimensión religiosa, forman parte del patrimonio cultural de la isla. Las exposiciones se concibieron como herramientas didácticas para acercar a la población local a su historia y fomentar la identificación con su legado. A través de piezas artísticas, recursos museográficos y participación comunitaria, se exploraron los vínculos entre pasado y presente. El estudio destaca la importancia del patrimonio como instrumento de educación no formal, así como su potencial para fortalecer la identidad cultural, promover el conocimiento histórico y favorecer la conservación del legado material e inmaterial.</dim:field>
<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="en-GB" mdschema="dc">The chapter presents an analysis of two commemorative exhibitions dedicated to Ramon Llull and Catalina Tomàs in Mallorca, addressing their role in the collective imagination and their educational value. Beyond their religious dimension, both figures are part of the island’s cultural heritage. The exhibitions were conceived as didactic tools to bring local communities closer to their history and foster identification with their legacy. Through artistic pieces, museographic resources, and community participation, the study explores the links between past and present. It highlights the importance of heritage as a tool for non-formal education, as well as its potential to strengthen cultural identity, promote historical knowledge, and support the preservation of both tangible and intangible heritage.</dim:field>
