<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="es-ES" mdschema="dc">El propósito de este estudio es analizar la estrategia de marketing olfativo en hoteles para conocer más en profundidad la experiencia del consumidor turístico y qué factores influyen en ella. La implementación de acciones de marketing encaminadas a provocar experiencias multisensoriales en puntos de venta y empresas de servicios está en auge y ha sido objeto de estudio reciente. Los estímulos al consumidor han ido evolucionando hacia sentidos menos estudiados como el olfato. El presente trabajo explora la estrategia de marketing olfativo en hoteles con el objetivo de profundizar en la adopción de estas estrategias y comprender su repercusión sobre la experiencia del cliente. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo una investigación cualitativa basada en entrevistas en profundidad a responsables hoteleros.</dim:field>

The implementation of marketing actions aimed at stimulating multisensory experiences in points of sale and service companies has increased and has been recently studied. Consumer stimuli have evolved towards less explored senses such as smell. This paper explores scent marketing strategies in hotels with the aim of deepening the study of their adoption and understanding their impact on customer experience. To this end, qualitative research has been conducted through in-depth interviews with hotel managers.</dim:field>
