El uso de biorretroalimentación visual como puede ser la utilización de un espejo durante el parto, puede contribuir a que la mujer tenga una mayor sensación de control durante el proceso, favoreciendo los pujos y la satisfacción general del proceso. Objetivo: Conocer cómo perciben las parturientas la experiencia del uso de un espejo durante el expulsivo en el parto. Metodología: Estudio de metodología cualitativa con un enfoque de investigación fenomenológico que pretende ahondar en las experiencias de las mujeres que han utilizado el espejo durante el expulsivo para conocer su efectividad en cuanto a la sensación de control y a su satisfacción tras el uso del mismo. Implicaciones para la práctica enfermera: El uso de una herramienta de bajo coste como es un espejo, en un momento tan trascendental en la vida de una mujer como es un parto, puede contribuir a una atención más humanizada y centrada en la paciente, mejorando así el entorno obstétrico. The use of visual biofeedback, such as the use of a mirror during childbirth, can help the woman to have a greater sense of control during the process, favouring pushing and general satisfaction of the process. Objective: To understand how parturient perceive the experience of using a mirror during the expulsive phase of labour. Methodology: A qualitative study with a phenomenological approach is proposed. This design will allow for an in-depth exploration of the experiences and meanings attributed to mirror use, analysing how it influences women's sense of control and satisfaction during the expulsion process. Data collection will be conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and focus groups, using purposive sampling to achieve data saturation. Implications for nursing practice: The use of a low-cost tool such as a mirror at such a crucial moment as childbirth can promote more humane and patient-centred care.
