Abstract

El capítulo analiza el encuentro entre Jesús y la mujer sirofenicia en Mc 7,24-30, prestando atención a su contexto narrativo, social y teológico. Pablo Alonso examina por qué Jesús rechaza inicialmente la petición de la mujer, cómo la respuesta de ella transforma la dinámica del relato y qué consecuencias tiene este episodio para la comprensión de la misión de Jesús hacia judíos y gentiles. El autor subraya que la mujer no aparece solo como beneficiaria de un milagro, sino como interlocutora activa que provoca un cambio en Jesús y en la apertura del evangelio hacia los excluidos. La lectura conecta el texto bíblico con cuestiones contemporáneas como migración, fronteras, diálogo intercultural, exclusión social y hospitalidad cristiana.
